i hardly use twitter at all anymore.

a friend of mine was commenting on how there isn't any conversation on Plurk about the financial crisis... but it's all over twitter

made me think that perhaps the two applications attract different people... or just different topics

I use twitter more for business use, but Plurk and Facebook are where my true friends are.

I plurk and gave up facebook once I found plurk..This is more convo than I can handle. I think you're right about who is attracted to what
