Firefox.exe is the only thing using CPU 100% of it and crashing everything else

did listen to germaine and took her advice about the pleepsite and still didn't work so

if its a video plugin then he will never figure it out

Leave the CPU meter up, and disabe a plugin, then restart the browser. Do until done.

now disabled all plug-ins, all themes and all extensions and still FF is at 98%

Restart the computer and look again.

why fight it? buying new computers is fun! yeah they cost money, but ... mmmm... that new computer smell.
