how fun, we never built our own either, just at shul.

Wasn't there an event in Hanover during the early 80's? Something about someone destroying one? distant memory, but I remember being sad.

When I worked in Westchester Co, NY with many Jewish colleagues, I always thought Sukkah sounded like a charming harvest festival

Friends do a cooperative sukkah construction every year - Edu-sukka-con not out of the question clearly.

That's the plan! SHOULD be able to take it apart in a bunch of different pieces and put it back together next year.
