I'veeeee read most of the first one? /useless

I'm having ... issues, largely because having been spoilered for the various results of various character shenanigans,

I have less tolerance for kinda 'stupid behavior' that seems more focused on moving the plot along than in being 'ic'

I've read that series twice

need to read it again

I think the writing is quite good, description good, dialogue good, plot ... pretty good I suppose

just the construction and some of the weaker elements are driving me up the wall, and don't get me started on the women

mmm, I would recommend it relatively, but the women, my god! Some of them are really ... it's hard to describe
