bleeding heart libertarian might be a good description of my political views.

benevolent dictatorship supports my goals pretty well
but seriously fuck all this baseline "conservative", "progressive", "liberal" stuff. Not enough variance.
you at least need to preface 'progressive' or 'conservative' with 'financial' or 'social' for them to make any sense.
sticking with anarchism as the preferred eschaton to immanentize.
yeah... that sounds more like socially liberal, economically conservative. but bleeding heart libertarian has a nice ring to it.
you have to watch out for 'socially liberal, economically conservative'. Go too far, and it's 'let me do what I want, & don't take my money'
which is a lot like being a four year old.
I'm the socialist of the family. But I have a traditionalist side. I don't mind paying for what I want, but I am picky about where $ goes.
I like the "bleeding heart libertarian" and have a fairly good idea of what that means without popular political terms attached.
agrees. The hard part these days is paying for social benefit rather than corporate benefit.
I'm also the dis-loyal dog that will run to the other side if I get too pissed.
"dis-loyal dog" should be a political term.
or at least an openly said one
in the "Leave me the fuck alone to live life how I want so long as I'm not hurting anyone. Cooperation is a choice." camp.
