I've been playing around with "hyperboards.com" Administration and setup are somewhat cumbersome. But once its set up it might be ok.

check to see at school if it's filtered tool...you don't want to put too much effort in if they have it blocked...

I think that I I can secure the site, that I could get it approved. We use blogger in WSFCS.

I also use PBWorks with my students. I can create accounts without collecting personal contact info on students.

I can also block access for anybody who isn't a member.
