turned her cellphone off, and disconnected the home phone. Maybe she can relax in the quiet this way.
been frantically trying to find her. ;A;
been in a frenzy when he couldn't find her at his home. ;;
it's pretty obvious where she would be if she wasn't at his house.
that it would be rather awkward if he were to stumble upon her and Iceland. ;;
doesn't know he's freaking out, so he's not going to find her unless he goes looking c:
already gone looking with his umbrella. ;;
fell asleep where she was, getting wet from the rain.
finds her house (getting lost on the way) and quickly runs to it, soaked even with his umbrella.
starts to wake up, and is startled when she notices a figure running towards her home.
realizes who it is right after that, and runs to his side. "F-francis? Are you okay?"
sits up, forehead bleeding just slightly. "Sey-Sey!"
notices the blood, and sighs. "You should be more careful when it's slippery, you know."
nods, tears gathering in his eyes. "Are... are you leaving my place again?" he asks.
doesn't notice the tears, assuming they're just rain water. "I couldn't have stayed there forever!"
pouts, getting to his feet shakily. "Of course you could have!"
pouts back. "Could not! I'm my own country!"
holds the umbrella over her, even knowing it's pretty pointless since they're both wet now. =3=
rolls her eyes, and starts to walk back to her house. "What are you doing here?"
follows after her like a lost puppy. "I was worried. I came home and you weren't there."
goes inside and starts looking for towels in her entryway closet. "I probably should have left a note, huh?"
closes and shakes the umbrella off before shaking his hair dry. "Oui!"
pouts a little, shoving an armful of fluffy towels at him. "Here!"
takes them, drying himself off with a pout.
stands there and stares at him expectantly, still dripping.
freezes before starting to dry her off.
pouts, but lets him dry her off. "I was fine!"
rolls his eyes, scoffing. "You'll catch a cold just standing there. I'd be a horrible father to let that happen."
shrugs, then wiggles away from him. "Okay, I'm dry enough now!"
folds the towels and puts them away properly, standing there, waiting for permission to move about.
frowns, looking at him. "...Are you upset?"
fidgets a bit. "I don't want to do anything wrong in Sey-Sey's house, since I'm rarely here."
rolls her eyes. "You can do whatever you want, as long as it's not anything stupid."
looks to the door and then back to her. "It's raining still." ;;
frowns, looking around him to see outside. "....Yeah, and it's really dark too."
clings to her arm. "Can Papa stay for the night?" ;;
makes a super brave face at him. "If you want to!"
kind of scared of the super brave face. "Are you sure?"
nods. "My power might go out though, it's not very good out here, especially not in big rainstorms."
resists the urge to flail. "That's why you should have stayed with Papa," he mutters.
pouts. "But! You only needed me there because you were lonely, and then you weren't lonely anymore, so it was ok for me to go home!"
frowns. "That isn't true!"
frowns back at him. "Is so true!"
throws a towel at her. "Not true! I was happy with Sey staying at my place!"
squeaks as the towel hits her, and starts to fold it. "I would just get in the way!"
stomps his foot like a four year old, throwing another towel. "How?!"
can't catch that one too, and lets it fall to the ground. "I just
Would! ...And I get so homesick when I stay with you! I stick out there." she stomps her foot back at him.
crosses his arms, out of ammo. "I thought you fit in perfectly with Papa."
Scoffs, finishing folding the towels. "... You're being stupid."
clamps his mouth shut, grinding his teeth together. "Don't call me stupid."
sets the towels down, frowning. "Okay, okay, sorry."
grabs his umbrella and opens the door, looking away for her. "I'll go home."
"Okay. I'll see you--" the power goes out then, and she goes quiet.
resists the urge to scream and cling to her as he shakily tries to open the umbrella.
makes a pathetic noise. "P-papa?" she asks, not able to see him in the dark.
hears her and restrains himself from going to her. "I'll be off. Make sure you turn on your phone in case you need me."
starts to panic. "Francis, don't go yet!" she wails.
stops and turns around, not liking the tone. ;~~~; "Oui?"
Goes quiet again, trying not to cry.
sighs and puts the umbrella back before going to her and pulling her close.
latches onto him. "...I don't like the dark." she whispers, tearing up.
holds her tighter, squeezing her a bit in reassurance. "Let's find some candles, okay?"
only clings more, trembling a little. "There are some in the living room."
takes her hand and starts towards the living room. "What about flashlights/"
holds it tightly. "I don't... Know. There should be one...."
tsks her as he stumbles onto some candles. "Matches?"
fumbles around in the dark for a moment, then hands him a lighter. "I don't like matches."
takes it and lights some of the candles, the living room brightening up some. "Why not?" he asks.
frowns, and sits down on the couch, wrapping a blanket around herself. "... I just don't." she lies.
sighs and takes one of the candles. "I'm going to try to find the flashlight in the kitchen, okay?"
pulls the blanket over her head, attempting to hide. "...Okay."
quickly goes into the kitchen and fumbles around in the drawers, looking for a flashlight. He finds one and makes a happy sound before_
_returning back and giving it to her. He sits next to her on the couch, putting the candle on the coffee table.
takes the flashlight from him, turning it on then off again. "...Thanks."
nods, smoothing down her hair.
frowns, looking up at him. "I didn't mean to keep you here. I'm sorry."
chuckles, pulling her close. "I'm the one who wanted to stay in the first place," he tells her quietly.
sighs, leaning against him. "I'm being a baby."
holds her closer. "You're not. We all have our fears."
"Grownups shouldn't be afraid of the dark." She mutters, sulking.
chuckles a bit. "At least you're not afraid of aliens like Alfred."
pouts. "Aliens aren't real, he has no reason to be afraid of them!"
laughs more. "See? We all have different fears."
fidgets, playing with the edges of the blanket. "I'm afraid of pirates..."
continues to smooth her hair. "Well, they have been bugging you for some time now."
nods, putting up with him touching her hair. "Forever. When it wasn't Somalia, it was England, so I should be used to it by now."
makes a face with England's mention. "It's something you shouldn't put up with though"
shrugs. "Things have gotten better though. No one sets my trees on fire or kill the turtles anymore."
resists the urge to mention something about turtle soup (not wanting to get hurt). "Mm, that's a good thing, oui?"
nods, sighing a little. "Hey, Francis."
stops petting her hair, and sits up some. "Yeah?"
looks up at him, then frowns. "Nevermind."
frowns but shrugs. He wasn't in the mood to fight with her. "Have you eaten?"
shakes her head. "No. But I'm not hungry either!"
reaches into his pocket and pulls out a piece of candy that hadn't been ruined by the rain.
watches him. "If you're hungry, you can make something."
holds out the candy to her, smiling a bit. "Nah, I"m not hungry."
frowns still, but takes it. "Are you okay?"
nods, letting his eyes close as he holds her closer. "Sleepy."
rolls her eyes. "You can go to sleep if you want."
pouts, forcing his eyes open. "Non."
scowls, thinking he's being dumb. "Francis! Why not? You just said you were sleepy!"
pouts more. "You sleep first!"
"....I'm not tired." She lies, starting to scoot away from him.
holds onto her close. "The boogie man will eat you if you get away from me." He says with an extremely serious expression
