140 characters seem like a lot more on Plurk than on Twitter. Why is that?

they help you more and the modifiers allow savings of 1-6 words per plurk. 3rd person saves sentences

maybe because people aren't trying to say much on plurk yet? And the verb is already taken care of for you!
