but if the members invite friends to join for the vote they will at least be aware of Plurk and try the system at least once.

yes but lets say it was a 10:1 ratio on the inactive to active. I mean some would stick around I am sure

ya im sure alot would stay but they need to clean up the inactive plurk after being inactive for a while

the inactives are not taking up much data space so I don't think a purge would be necessary for quite a long time.

they need to figure out a better indexing algorithm of the messages (not accounts) to make searching better and more reliable.

that's hilarious. They each have an account on Plurk. They should friend request each other. How appropriate that both their Karma is zero.
