I'm thinking of switching from Curves to WW because WW seems more realistic and isn't so restrictive on the types of food you can eat.

they are better for maintenance, but if you just want to lose some weight quicker and keep it off on your own, they are all about the same.

dougkyle thanks for the link. Their philosophy is similar to Curves but the 50% protein is hard for me to do. I can't swallow another egg.

variety can be an issue. Chicken, whey & egg whites for protein - for eggs, try cinnamon & 0 cal/fat pancake syrup: tastes like french toast

its the metabolism boost that's the biggest for me. With no extra exercise, I went from ~2300 cal/day to now at 3100 cal/day (at -50lbs)
