I believe in you! You can do it!
;A; B-But what if I somehow make the pasta catch fire?!
I don't even know how long I'm supposed to let the pasta boil for lol
I really don't think you will. And usually there's a guideline for how long it should boil on the package?
It's in a plastic jar. My parents are weird in keeping ingredients idk
O-oh... Well, uhm I usually let it boil for at least 10 minutes then check every minute or so after that.
*toddles off to try that now *sobs*
*sends helpful vibes* You can do it!
You can do it!
*knows how to cook noodles* =3=
xD no wonder you guys are german brothers
pfft I watched enough shows on cooking
The pasta is still a bit hard, but all floppy and whatever, butI already put the sauce on before I realised this so whatever
It's a weird pasta anyway
do you want tips for the next time you make noodles?
=w=.... did you put salt in?
boil the water, add salt, put in the spaghetti and boil them on low heat for about 8 minutes. to test if they are "al dente" either cool one
spaghetto down and test it OR throw one against the nearest wall and if it keeps sticking to it, it's done.
I boiled the water, added salt, then put in the spag and boiled for like fifteen minutes
And the test one felt soft enough but whatever =3= This was my first time. I'm happy that nothing caught fire
xD throw it against the wall
*never do that, just taste it*
Just a little bit harder than usual
inside is weird if it is cooked for too long or, not long enough
hm, maybe next time, stir the noodles from time to time?
or play cooking mama on your DS. XD
I don't have cooking mama :\ And I stirred like mad
there was a prussia cosplay doing cooking mama
I'm just inept in the kitchen in general
I'd probably fail that too
XD *is amused* I'm not a 4 stars cook, but I like cooking and my gf likes what I cook. Most of the time. XD
I made soup once. It was very nice.
It wasn't tinned soup either
But I think that was some miracle
cooking soup always takes too much if you don't use instant soup
But this was for cookery class ;;
SO I had to make it from scratch
It was the only time we actually /cooked/ in that class
I never had cooking class. And my mom realizes she made the same mistake as her own mother, but still it did not do much wrong. We both know
Because we had to swap cookery for IT every week with the other classes
I love Japanese cooking btw
My mam is going to kidnap me after exams are over and force me to learn how to cook
since I'm moving away come Sept
it's "buy this instant ingredient, add some other ingredients and you're done."
if you don't want to live off instant noodles all the time
I could live off salads too, I guess 8|a
not enough nutrients, actually.
*Sighs* Then learning how to not pull an England in the kitchen it is then
the other day, we were watching jamie oliver trying to teach British Schools how to cook... or how to cook in general and we were like...
I have encountered people who did that.
overcooked... like... ONE giant noodle.
I fail at anything. I even fail at sandwiches sometimes
....I'm a terrible cook 's well....
SOMETIMES THE CHOCOLATE DOESN'T SPREAD KAY
THAT'S WHY YOU NEED NUTELLA! IT ALWAYS SPREADS!
SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T SPREAD
Then it's too old or too cold
I LOVE NUTELLA SANDWICHES!
BUT NUTELLY GOES ON (almost) EVERYTHING
...It certainly goes on sandwiches. >u>
NUTELLA IS GOD OF EVERYTHING
And it's true, sometimes when you try to spread it it tears the bread.
EIGHTYTWO MILLION GERMANS CAN'T BE WRONG!
plus the austrians, the French, Italians... almost all of Europe
you can put strawberries on sandwiches, too
Why? Nutella sandwiches are god
you can put them in sushi, too
Everyone eats them in Britain
XD I tried it, it wasn't as awesome as Nutella
and we have it, it just doesn't sell well
*can't really eat much peanut butter, but loves Nutella and would probably eat it on everything if it was cheaper*
and, as far as I know, peanut butter is sweet, too, so why would you put that on a sandwich?
nutella isn't just chocolate, nutella is also hazelnuts and doesn't taste as sweet as jelly
meat is not meant to be sweet
I am confused. Since when has meat been sweet unless glazed by honey?
*sweatdrops* I think it's the nutrients that made them eat meat.
Yeah. Humans were scavengers initially
I think they know instinctively
I think they know which kind of food will make them be active longer.
...I don't think that's it
Many animals, for example, hyenas, eat meat. They even eat carrion. Which does not taste nice. Animals care only for sustenance, not taste
We have teeth for eating both plants and meat.
cats don't taste anything
cat food doesn't have much taste, but it smells a lot
it SMELLS. and it TASTES NASTY
It's in the middle of putrefaction, which is foul no matter what species you are
...I wonder how this went from Nutella to rotting flesh.
*did that too, as a baby*
You can go blind from eating poo
what? I was a baby, I didn't know better
and my mom said I probably thought it was chocolate then.
And btw, I didn't get to say this in time, Hyenas are not related to dogs all that closely
XD I don't think she was.
And I really don't want images of a baby eating their own faeces...
It's actually fairly common for infants and small children to eat things that aren't very appetizing or edible in the slightest.
My brother ate cigarettes
So yeah, babies eat weird shit
Literally in Germany's case
You need to smoke it to get addicted
*nods* no you don't need to smoke to get addicted to nicotine
I don't understand your sentence
I will look into the ingredients of both, Nutella and Peanut Butter the day after tomorrow.
but Nutella has less calories than peanut butter
so, actually, eating a peanut butter sandwich with jelly fills about 50% of your daily calories.
this site says that 100g of peanut butter have around 600kcal and 100g of Nutella have around 500kcal
and peanut butter has twice as much fat as Nutella
but still. if you put jelly on it - which you do not do with nutella - nutella has less calories as a whole.
Thus, eating your Nutella-Sandwich is actually better than eating a peanutbutter-jelly-sandwich
it does... the more you put it on your bread the more you eat it with your face. /bed now
Personally, peanut butter and jelly sounds horrible to me
Yes, but I fail at the kitchen. And it was the first time I had ever cooked
And everyone else cooks. I'm the baby of the family, so I never had to bother with that
I cook instant noodles though, or pizzas, but those are just "pop 'em in and come back after a few minutes"
Nope. Baby of the family meant I was basically spoilt |D;
Plus I lived on an army base, so we usually went to the mess hall to eat so *shrugs*
XDDDD once i burnt the rice i was cooking... but pasta's easy.
*Sobs* Stop taunting me with your successful pasta making skills!
XDDD its okay, we all have a first time at cooking.
i once forgot to put baking soda on a cake i was making...
but its tastier if you make it yourself...
once i was making rice for 30 persons *christmas dinner for friends, by friends* and the rice... well, it became this big sticky thing...
it wasn't my fault.. i was happily making it on a pot, but it was too small, so i changed it to a big one.
and the a friend of mine was like "it needs more water" and i was like "okay" and put more water.
and then he was like "no, that's too much water" and i was like "okay" and took out some water.
and then there was a problem with the pot cause it was too much rice, so i had to divide rice into two pots, and so, rice went to hell.
in the end, my christmas rice turned to sticky onigiri
