so it turns out last night the new guy wasnt supposed to show up. Poor guy showed up, but our Lieutenant said he wasn't scheduled to appear.

our company is sreiously understaffed, and has a lot of "floating" guards, meaning not enough steady places of work. this is srsly bad.
