Right in the park at the end of my park and I didn't even realize it.

Sadly, one was shot and killed. The other got away.

I can't believe they SHOT one of them.. if one got away, couldn't the other one have calmed down eventually and found its way out, too?

it's not like he was biting people's heads off :/ I can see how it would be dangerous around cars i guess, maybe cause an accident

They shot it because it ran off into Bottriel, jumped someone's fence and ended up in a backyard. I guess it became too dangerous then?

yeah, I don't agree with them shooting it either, but that seems to be the case with most wild animals wandering into suburbia.
