there is definitely something special about Plurk, I have not seen this kind of engagement and excitement on a site *since* twitter

that Plurk is well thought out and has appealing Mac like qualities, whereas Twitter is appears tired and like a PC.

it's definitely fun & i'm v. pro-twitter. there's a diff. dynamic here; not sure what it is yet, besides newness & excitement of mtg new ppl

Plurk crashed earlier this evening, but it wasn't down long.
