if you want one that will run SL reasonably well, try the ASUS eee 1201PN netbook - it's gone preorder on amazon.com.de for about $600.

This is special in that it contains NVidia Ion, a netbook-class 3d accelerator somewhat equivalent to NVidia GeForces 3/4-years old.

If you can wait a few more weeks, the next iteration of Asus eee will include additional ability to optimise battery life..

By slowing down the Ion when you're not doing anything strenuous like watching HD video, doing 3d or juggling too many windows.
