for about $600.

This is special in that it contains NVidia Ion, a netbook-class 3d accelerator somewhat equivalent to NVidia GeForces 3/4-years old.

By slowing down the Ion when you're not doing anything strenuous like watching HD video, doing 3d or juggling too many windows.
