(( what, is this the same church as Feli's? ))
((........you know, I have no idea XD ))
looking for shelter at the church's entrance in the storm, not that it is affecting him, it is just uncomfortable getting hit by the rain in
the eyes. He wonders if that little priest is still there, but everybody seems to have gone to bed already.
*suddenly sees a flickering light in a window and approaches it carefully*
*busy sweeping the church to notice the approaching gargoyle in the window. She hums as she works*
[[is happy for Ulkraine to join and lurker~]]
*frowns a little, sensing a different aura from her* *raps gently on the window*
(( for some reason gargoyle!Lud is reluctant to go inside the church without being invited. ))
*jumps out of her skin letting out a surprised yelp. Her broom clatters to the ground as she turns to see him in the window* O-o-oh!
I'm sorry! I-I'll open the door for you! *rushes to the main doors, leaving her broom behind*
*blinks, but turns to the main doors, all wet and dripping*
*opens the door, the strong wind opening it even further than she wanted*
C-come in please! *wind ruffling her clothes*
*catches the door and keeps it open, hesitantly stepping inside and helps the nun to close the door again* ...I'm sorry for... dripping all
over the carpet... *tries to stand on stone mostly*
O-Oh don't trouble yourself! It will dry! *smiles up at the Gargoyle* Do you want a towel? A meal perhaps?
*shakes his head* No thank you. I will go outside soon again, I think. *smiles a little*
W-What? Oh you mustn't! The storm doesn't look like it will calm down at all! *frets over him*
*smiles a little* I will have to leave by sunrise.Thank you for your concern.
B-b-but the storm..... *pouts*
*gives you a serious look* As soon as the sun rises I will turn into stone... then the weather won't matter to me at all.
*blinks* ....eh? I-Is that why your aura is off?
*nods, snorts, and chuckles* I doubt that you'd find wings on an ordinary human. and horns. *points and turns*
......EH?! *was completely oblivious to them*
*chuckles softly, bowing slightly* I am a gargoyle... and what, my dear, what are you?
A-ah....A nun. *motions down to her attire*
[[flash cheat card: an attractive vampire nun~ come back to get new jacket b/c of rain but gone again lurker]]
... *smiles slowly, but widely, a little dangerous* I can see that, my little one. But just as you can sense my aura, I can sense yours. And
by all means, you are more than just a simple nurse.
(( I totally didn't type curse. ))
A-ah...u-um.... I have no idea what you're talking about. *bites her lower lip and retreats back to her forgotten broom*
*shakes off some droplets* Oh, so it's a secret you can't even tell a stranger, let along another supernatural being.
I have my reason, Mr.Gargoyle. *narrows her eyes slightly* Don't talk about the supernatural in God's house. Villagers come here to
I see nobody around at this time. *smiles* But I must say, you chose an interesting shelter for yourself.
It turns out to be quite nice. People don't suspect you to be supernatural. *frowns* -untill another supernatural being comes along. I've
worked here for years and no one has been able to tell.
*nods* I see. Well, it seems like you don't want to harm anybody so I will keep your secret safe... *chuckles* Not that I can tell anyone.
*blinks* y-you can't? *relaxes a bit knowing she doesn't have to kill him*
*shakes his head* The only other... being that I know are this priest Feliciano and... my brother. Who... turned out to be a demon
*blinks* Priest Feliciano? /He's/ supernatural? O-Oh dear, what if he has already figured me out! *frets*
No, he's not... but he was talking about his clan... *Frowns* and his brother. I think he mentioned he was a witch.
He also summoned a demon, I don't think he would harm you if he found out about you.
*tears up a bit* b-b-but the hunts! D-doesn't he take part of that?
*clasps a hand over her mouth realizing what she said* Nothing!
*raises an eyebrow inquiringly*
*laughs nervously and continues her sweeping* A-are you sure I can't get you anything? It would be no trouble at all.
...maybe a bucket would be helpful. *looks guiltily at the puddle he made*
O-oh, I'll clean that up! Don't worry. *walks quickly over to a closet and takes out a mop and bucket before cleaning up the puddle*
A-are you sure you don't want a towel?
...Maybe. If you can spare one, that is. *sheepish look*
Most certainly! We're a church after all. *grabs his had* This way please. *leads him towards the linen closet*
*follows with careful steps, not wanting to drip on too much*
*inside the linen closet is a bit warm. Katyusha takes off her headdress, revealing her short blonde hair after handing the wet gargoyle
*nods in thanks and starts to towel himself off carefully*
*suddenly feels a burning sensation in the back of her throat* ...a-ah... I-I'll....I'll be right back. *hurries out of the room*
*frowns a little, but simply nods and dries himself as best as he can*
*hurries outside the back of the church to find her hidden stash of blood, getting completely soaked in the process. The soaken nun quickly
grabs the bottle and heads back into the church, shivering slightly from the rain. She walks past the linen clothes towards the kitchen*
*steps out just as you pass, seeing you all drenched and follows you, another towel in his hands*
*once in the kitchen, she uncoarks the bottle and starts to drink hungrily from the bottle, not even caring for a cup*
...so you are a vampire, I see. *stands in the doorframe of the kitchen*
*the sudden appearance of the gargoyle once again makes her jump, the bottle dropping to the ground and shattering* Oh no! no, no, no, no!
*drops to her knees next to the spilt blood* Look what you've made me do! *tries to pick up the blood with her hands*
*raises an eyebrow, then picks a cloth and cleans it with some water before mopping up some of the blood* Try this.
*starts to cry, ignoring the Gargoyle's idea* I-I've just wasted blood....
*kneels down* Hush... *pours the blood into a cup* Here.
*continues to mop up the rest*
*continues to cry, but drinks the watered down blood*
*silently mops up as much as he can, waiting for yout to finish*
*wipes her eyes with her bloodied hands, trying to calm down as much as she could* T-Thank you...
Don't thank me yet... you have to clean up if you want your secret kept.
R-right... *gets up to get the mop and bucket once more and returns to clean the remains of the blood*
*currently washing the cup and the bottle*
*sniffles, done cleaning the floor* I-I need more.....
*raises an eyebrow* do you have more?
*sniffles and shakes her head comfirming the negative* th-that was my last bottle...M-My brother was suppose to bring me more...
*frowns* What do you usually do in these kinds of situations?
G-get my emergencey stash... *sob*
Th-that was it... *points to the floor*
I-I'll just go ask one of my siblings and-! *looks out the window at the raging storm*..... *starts to tear up again*
... they won't come today, will they?
P-probably not! *wails breaking out into tears*
*realizes she's still wet and wipes her eyes once more* I-I need to go dry off...
*offers the towel that he had brought with him*
*blinks in surprise but takes the towel* th-thanks. *starts drying off*
*nods* You're welcome. *straightens up* I'm sorry, but I cannot help you in your search for blood.
I-I understand... b-but I can't search for blood either... *continues to dry off*
*frowns a little* That... is quite the dilemma... *frowns some more*
*determined face* I-I'll just have t-to b-b-b-b-b-/bite/ someone.... *walks towards the main doors*
...have you tried little animals?
L-L-little animals? *thinks about for a moment then tears up* I-I-I couldn't!
*frowns* If you cannot bite little animals, how could you ever bite a human?
Listen, isn't it better if you killed some... rats that are not meant to be here anyways than attract any suspicion towards yourself by
I-I wouldn't /kill/ them! b-but I would probably k-kill anything s-small. Th-they don't have a lot in them...
how much do you need anyways?
m-maybe half a bottle worth...
*nods* One rat should be enough. *looks a bit funny, listening for the sounds of rats and hears one in the storage room* *frowns a little as
he opens the door slowly, silently so as not to scare it and quickly spots and kills the vermin by breaking its neck* ...there you are.
*blinks at the rat* Y-Y-You /killed/ it!
It was eating a week's worth of oatmeal.
*sniffle* I-I-It died for me....
...will you let it go to waste?
I-I guess n-not... *takes the dead rat gently in her hands* I-I'm sorry... *sinks her fangs into it, coughing as the fur invades her mouth*
*watches with a slight frown, used to eating rats when nobody gave him any food*
(( also, guess which book I read for my headcanon on vampires. ))
((......please tell me its not twilight ))
(( did this sound anything likte twlight? =3=I'm too old/young for twilight. ))
(( oh .w. then what book? ))
[[twilight...is very...let's says it's too romatic for me =A=]]
(( interview with a vampire ))
*sucks the rat dry, tears rolling endlessly down her cheeks* I-It was nasty....
(( and if ANYBODY comes up with that twilight/hetalia Pic AGAIN, I will kill somebody. )) and not just a rat. ))
...but it was sufficient. and that'S what matters. at least for the time being.
*looks down sadly at the rat* I-I should have died instead....
. . . *feels his eyebrow twitch a little* There is a reason why humans hate these animals. They bring them diseases, they eat their food...
Humans consider every dead rat a good rat. And unless you don't want to help the humans, you just did a good thing.
*sniffles* T-they also say that with vampires though! Th-they're always going on hunts for us... threatening my siblings with fire...
((omg, germany and ukraine again? <3))
well, I doubt that your siblings only eat rats' blood. Or do they?
N-No.... they drink human blood. I-I do as well. J-Just not as fresh....
And that is the reason why humans hunt down your brother and your sister. Because they don't like humans to be killed for food. They do not
care that much about rats though.
W-We don't /kill/ them! ..... u-usually.... *sniffles*
*pats your back* I respect your way of doing it. Don't worry too much about it.
B-b-but this rat is /dead/! *lifts it slightly*
if you can help me skin it and fry it, it will be my meal before I go back to sleep.
....al-alright..... *walks over to get a knife*.......*stares at the lifeless rat* I-I can't do it!
*holds open his hand for the knife* I have practice, let me do it while you... prepare a small fire... can you do that?
*hands him the knife* I-I can do that.... *blinks* We haven't introduced ourselves.
*blinks* ...true... *snorts amusedly* and I already killed for you. My name is Ludwig.
I am vampiress Yekaterina Katyusha Braginskaya. But the humans just call me Katyusha. I'm pleased to meet you, Ludwig. *smiles and starts
[[vampire has long long name...]]
(( /lurks. definitely. ))
(( *only has such a short name because gargoyles do not care about names* ))
*inclines his head again in greeting and continues to skin the rat, cutting out the innards as well, handing you the meat* You can turn this
into leather, if you know how to.
not the best, but for a small porch it's enough.
*takes the mean and starts to cook it over the fire* I have never worked with leather. I like cloth and silk much more.
*still feels sad for the rat*
*watches the meat hungrily* ...do you know how silk is make?
*blinks, letting the meat cook* .....webs?
Well, it's made of the cocoons of thousands of caterpillars.
.....d-do they survive? *sad face*
*gives you a look* ...Thankfully they die quickly, being thrown into boiling water.
Q A Q e-eh?! o-oh! I'm never going to use silk again!
*chuckles* Humans are cruel beings. But all they want to do is live and they use all the resources they can... which makes them quite unique
Th-They don't need silk to live! *poutpout* *gets meat off the fire, seasoning it lightly*
No, they don't need it. But it's nice. And some of them don't have anything to make thread but those caterpillars.
w-well.....m-maybe them... B-but I'll just use wool and cloth for now on.... *hands the meat over to him on a plate*
*blinks, having not expected the plate* Thank you. *takes the rat and starts eating away on it, quite savagely*
Very much so. Thank you a lot for your help. *quickly finishes the rat* It's been a long time since I had cooked meat.
*blinks* How long has it been? *blinksblinks* How old are you?
...a few hundred years? I don't know, I slept for a long time. And... I don't remember how old I am.
*blinks* You've been eating raw meat for that long? b-but you could come here for a warm meal any night!
*chuckles* Sometimes I only ate... an apple or a pear and went back to sleep again.
*frets* B-but you need to eat more than that!
*smiles* I went a few hundred years without eating anything. Gargoyles... don't die that easily.
b-but that shouldn't be healthy.... not eating, I mean.... *worries*
I spent... more than 50% as a stone figure, that cannot be healthy either.
Th-then you need to eat more! W-what would you like? I can cook a lot of different things! ;A;
*shakes his head, smiling slightly* This meal has been more than enough. It will keep me full for a few nights. Thank you very much again.
*bites her lower lip wanting to say how unhealthy that is, but remains silent*
*does not need to eat healthy*
*raises from where he was sitting, taking the plate to the sink, clumsily cleaning it with his claw-y hands*
O-oh, here let me help you! *places her hands over his and helps him clean it better*
*hesitates a bit, tensing up at the touch, but steps back eventually* ...thanks. I'm sorry if I said some rude things earlier.
E-eh? Rude? Oh no! It was nothing really! No need to apologize! j-just don't tell anyone....about me, please. *bites lower lip*
*shakes his head* I cannot tell anyone without exposing myself, so... I won't.
*smiles smoftly* t-thank you. B-but if you don't expose yourself, who do you live with?
I live on my own, most of the time. Sometimes I make friends with somebody - like priest Feliciano - but they die soon. *sad smile* That's
what you get for being immortal...
o-oh.... I'm sorry. I havn't experienced that... yet.... I usually have to change areas so my siblings and I don't get caught.
*chuckles* I usually sleep for a few years until the memory of me has faded before exposing myself again.
th-that sounds horrible! d-do you do anything else besides sleep?
I watch... the humans, I wait for somebody like me
H-have you ever met someone like you?
*frowns* ...not yet. *snorts and chuckles*
Q A Q *heartfalls* W-why don't you look for them?
I have all the time in the world, there's no need for me to travel around.
B-but what if the others are thinking the same thing! y-you'll be all alone forever! *frets*
Then we will be reunited at the end of the world. *shrugs* I... am too old to be travelling around for nothing. *chuckles at his own joke*
I wouldn't be able to live without my siblings....
...I never had much contact with any relative... so... I wouldn't care.
*looks sadly down at the ground* I-I'm sorry for bringing it up....
(( - A-;;;;;;;; dunno what to do ))
(( we can turn it to morning. ^^; and end it for the time being. ))
*perks up a bit* I think... I will be going now. I need to be on the roof before the sun rises.
E-eh? the roof? Of the church?
*nods* Yes. Next to the other waterspouts.
*shocked* I-I had no idea!
It's not a common knowledge. *nods* Anyways, I need to go now. I can already sense the sunrise.
O-oh! I-I'm sorry for keeping you so long!
*nods* It has been an amiable night thanks to you. *moves to the door of the church*
*pushes himself off the ground and flies off into the sky, getting drenched by the rain immediately, finding his spot on the roof, assuming
his pose for the day and waits for the first rays of the sun*
[[QvQ , Ulkraine is so sweet >W< you get an immortal demon brother, Germany =v=+]]
