by volume it may dilute but more importantly look at the growth when adding Twitter. The increase in interest flatlines for Plurk.

this means that against the leader Plurk may be growing but continues to lose ground and that should be a concern to the long-term viability

Plurk has only been live for under 6 months, so it's expected that Twitter will be much bigger (and also have bigger growth)

but i hope we will eventually reach their levels - and do this soon

I would love to see the level of usage match Twitter too, at this juncture I was hoping for a match in growth curve which isn't quite there.
