mornin', everyone. today is raise day at work -- or maybe it is. it has been around this time for the past couple years. i fully expect

to be disappointed with mediocrity but it's possible it will be much worse. i guess, then, that i'm hoping for mediocrity because

awesomeness is out of the question. they only do that for their nice, cute, obedient, straight catholic girls. the rest of us get nada.

i suppose i could wear a catholic schoolgirl plaid skirt ensemble but i think that would frighten and horrify rather than gain me favor...

it's best that way. i find it's most accurate and least likely to annoy when you expect very very little
