i think u'll hv better outcome with oral medications..so just go to the pharmacy ask for ibuprofen or naproxen. important to take AFTER FOOD

Amelia ibuprofen is anti-inflammatory but rarely used for arthritis coz it's not strong enough.

and ben, if ur gum always inflammed, go check it out, maybe u just need some vitamin supplements (vit B if i'm not wrong)
