if you private plurk you can PP just your friends

a fan will usually follow you for a bit to make sure they are really interested.. they see your plurks and you see theirs

but if they leave you it doesn't hurt your karma

if a friend de-freinds you your karma goes down.. I have had that happen a time or two.. upseting when my karma takes a hit

and I have no idea why

I know that Jeff for instance fan's people first. if you "prove your worth" you can ask him to friend you later

if you set your time line to private you can't have fans..

and then Jeff probably wouldn't end up friending you since he wouldn't get to know you first
