shakes her head. "Maybe tomorrow instead."
clicks the next day's date on the website, "In the morning, or evening?" A matinée seems less like a date, but it's cheaper.
hums. "Evening."
nods even though she can't see, "Okay! I'll pick you up around... seven?"
stares at the phone. "You can drive?"
tilts his head, "Yeah? I have a license." And a car, because Pappa is nice. He doesn't drive much, to save money.
scowls. "What kind of car?"
can hear the scowl in her voice, "W-why?"
fixes her hair in the mirror. "Because if it's dorky I'll bus it."
laughs, "It's a convertible..." he got a new paint job, but it's used.
snorts. "Too vain, I'm busing it."
sighs, "It's like 10 years old," still gets okay mileage...
shakes her head. "I'd rather is be a motor bike."
rolls his eyes, "Well, if I took the bus over to your place, we could still head over there together."
doesn't want that. "No, I'd rather meet you there if you don't have a motor bike."

disappointed, "Will you be there at seven, then...?" Click, click, checking for showtimes in case she leaves her house at seven, instead.
shrugas. "Depends when the bus gets there. Why don't you have a motor bike, it's really cool."

sighs, "If I got one, that'd be silly... t'just get one because it's cool..."
smiles. "Boys with motor bikes are so hot. I'd date one."
bites his lip, tempted.
pouts. "But I guess if you don't have one.."
sighs, "I'll see what I can get." He doesn't like that she can manipulate him that well.
