when youngest was in HS he said all the kids knew how to use proxy sites to get where they wanted to go.

that will be part two of my post... the only ones blocking hurts are the ones who don't know anything about it in the first place!

those who already utilize the services and are rather web savvy aren't affected by filters...

my district blocks EVERYthing. makes it hard to teach using technology when u can't utilize resources out there.

plemohea: have they ever given a reason for it? (i.e.- in my district, it's due to "uncontrollable content")
