I love Twitter, but I am using Plurk more now. If I can get the IM in Plurk to work I will be very happy

It's not just the downtime, the API limiting makes other clients nearly unusable, and loosing 'follow' and SMS notifications totally bites.

not sure i believe it will happen, i think part of their recent announcement of features stems from the popularity around plurk

i would be very happy to leave twitter if i could bridge the 2 services

the only advantage twitter has over plurk right now is fan base. and chances are.. plurk will catch up in no time
