They told him today he had to call web support because it was a tech issue not anything else

they could help him with at the store

I think that's odd that they can't do anything at the store. I would push them on that, and insist on speaking with the manager. He just got

the phone, so they should take care of the problem locally. That means replacing the phone from their stock if that's what it takes.

Putting it off on web support just seem to me to be a dodge rather than a solution.

i set up an account under my name. Right now he can call and text but nothing more

We will get it all taken care of hopefully.
