pretty far...at least 12 hours drive to Seattle.. the only problem is their wireless service doesn't function in Canada.

I haven't checked CNET yet. That's a great idea. Someone mentioned Sony's. I need to check out their book availability.

the Sony will read PDFs and other formats, I believe.

I had one in my hands very briefly. I think they're a little big! They don't look comfy for one-handed reading.
