I have to break this down because its so..... different.
The original idea comes from Pink floyds Welcome to the Machines
nah - keep 'em guessin!!!
Mixed with the idea of The Art of Noise
then they can tell you what it is!!
and a whole lotta MagiCollNess!
Add a flavor of Pyramids Rising and Toys in the Attic and you get....
I hope you enjoy. Please feel free to comment in any way shape or form. This is something really new in flavor.
*listens*
All the drums and percussion are machine sounds only.
My dad was working for the railway.
as a kid I did a tour in the cockpit of a steam engine.
2nd listening

cool! miss my train set a lot! built it up for 10+ years...could turn all the lights off and have a great show
GREAT!!! I

Spring the Cog!
Now, another opinion. Is it a song for Collectic?
3rd listening
That is why I love your opinion Dieter. You really listen

Cool. Thank you
<--- can't stop listening!
it was a lot of fun. I saved about 50 machine sounds over the last 10 years. Then the last 2 days I dove in.
great pics
knows that yooz knows this Coll, but I'm so honored to be a part of your musical life and love
I was traveling with a cog railway in Switzerland some years ago... listening to your tune (5th time btw) I see the locomotive...
smell the steam again.
wow! very cool images in you head. Good, that is the goal.
I got automata and clockwork images.. like a glimpse into an automated assembly line building themselves some little friends but no humans
around and in a place few get to see...even had rubber duckies!
If I did not know better, I'd say this was my anti petroleum song
you're a genius, Coll, so many very different tunes, each of them so unique!
Always trying to take the listener somewhere new

Next stop? Who the hell knows......
India has not sounded right. Nor the scottish one.
I was listening with my laptop... put the audio on my big stereo now... sounds wonderful
ooo! big differents
the basses make it perfect!
I thought maybe too much bass.
you need to feel a song like this in the stomach.
Here is an early scoop on what is in my mind. I am collecting our dog singing and going to make a doggy ballad.
I can't imagine how that will sound... I'm curious!
but who doesn't like puppies
I love to play with sounds
sleepy now
thank you Coll for sharing your wonderful music!
good night Coll and Michelle
very nice piece!!!! Love it!
Hi Lydia, This is not to compare to what we would do
Thank you very much!!
this is really really cool. I will have to listen to this several more times.
yay!!
coming from your expertise, any comments would be very helpful.
hmmm... no comments besides that I really like it.

I just shared it on FB. I don't do that a lot but this one is awesome!
(not to say that your other ones aren't - I just like this one especially much)

Thank you!! That is awesome
Absolutely brilliant! For some reason it reminded me of sailing...racing to Martha's Vineyard. Another great piece of music. Kudos.
Thank you, Cheryl
Coll you never cease to amaze me with your music. I'm happy that you've started creating again. I truly am.
Me too! I am just letting come out what wishes to comeout. Not my idea as to which Collectic song should be next. But I am very happy withit
And I believe it will be added to Collectic
Hey cheryl? I have a bio posted on my site. Though, its with spelling and grammer issue's

Look what I've missed while I've been afk...!!
So, my takeaway from this piece is that it would be brilliant in an intense, suspenseful film.
And my impression would be that the musical soundtrack would convey an immense amount of emotion, and be integral to the plot.
So, the big question is...
...do we all get to be in your film?
Thanks Nils

I still need a script
having a listen now. Pretty good, Coll!
reminds me of the 'Chaos Engine' game by the Bitmap Bros, Blade Runner, Pirates of the Caribbean.. hmm
you call it new, but it does have a particular sound quality that is familiar in tone.
