I've seen 3 of them.
Mmmm. What is playing against The Big Bang Theory? Luckily not Grey's Anatomy. (We are suckers for hospital shows).
Bones and Vampire Diaries are up against BBT. On the other channels there wasn't anything else I'm interested in. More law dramas.
The thing about Big Bang is you have to watch or DVR b/c CBS doesn't post the episodes online anywhere. Bit torrent is only other option.
There are a few series I bit torrent because we aren't able to Tivo them. But it owuld be nice if they did late night reruns.
indeed! I really wish they'd do that on CBS.
We DVR everything we watched. I don't know the last time I watched live tv.
me too. The only thing I watch live is True Blood.
We have a hard time keeping a schedule. We might watch some stuff during the DVRing or just after, but I'm sitting down at 6:00:00
to watch anything on tv as long as we have an HD DVR with 200 hours of recording power.
DVR certainly help you have a life & get to watch your shows. I just didn't watch much TV in the days before DVR & seasons on DVD.
We didn't even own a television before the 1988 Olympics.
I had an argument with my ex over getting a big HDTV when they first came out. I watched 30-60 minutes/day max. Not worth $2K+
True,
horgon. It's amazing to me that TV is now my major form of entertainment. Used to go to 2+ movies a week. It's just too expensive.
it's now more cost effective to buy movies, even on Blu-Ray.
True! We dropped out cable down and we can use the extra money to buy the TV series. I miss the truck races, but then I work Friday nights
and with Mindy I don't get to watch racing much anyway.
I don't want to give up HBO or SHOWTIME or STARZ, though we don't get the extra sports channels. I can record movies in HD.
I do the same thing. I like watching cable movies in HD.
I didn't have a tv for a while and never missed it. Then my brother moved in for a bit and when he moved away I found that I really liked
having it so I could watch my movies so I bought a tv in 2000.
We are going to have watch (or dump) a few shows before Australia. Will probably be a couch potato for the next three days.
kd9 Do you have a Tivo? If the Tivo Desktop app has been ported to Mac you can download them rather than dump them.
We used to have one, but have DirecTV so have to use their unit. At least the hard disk is upgraded.
