I am thinking about starting one for my class and am looking for the good, bad, and ugly of doing so.

our school is using www.edline.net/pages/Mid... effectively though

we send blast messages through edline to our parents and students which I think the parents find very helpful

we made one for our 4th grade this year. Anxious to see how it works. Our principal was all for it.

however, this past year I noticed many students had taken their email addresses off- they were getting tired of all the constant updates

they're 8th graders

we are only friending parents of current 4th graders, though, and there are tons of people who are getting ignored.
