if there is something missing from Plurk - it doesn't really help conversation... feels very disconnected at times. Difficult to follow.

I prefer plurk, Twitter feels strange, hard to follow conversations there

: Agreed. Plurk is easy to follow, Twitter is much more difficult - especially without using a client

even with a client, you get responses and have to go back and check what people responded to. Much easier here

plurk is still pretty spotty though - it could do with live chat

I think that would make it into something it isn't - I agree that it could do with some improvements, so that Plurks don't go astray

my only complaint is that sometimes I forget which plurk a particular conversation is in, and I have to wander about a bit.

it's still easier than to keep track of a conversation with more than one person on twitter

What's missing is a good search feature: to find a certain text string in an old conversation.

yes, that would make it perfect.
