I have sympathy on Manchurian. Though maintaining a big Manchurian Empire for hundreds of years, they had lost their own identity.

Now they are called "Chinese with Manchurian Ethnicity" in PRC.

Manchurian Tribe are distinctly different than Han Tribe.

Same for Tibet Tribe. The culture and language are so different than Han's culture and language.

Frankly, I think the term "China" only presents the land area. It does not reflect the races or bloodlines.

However, Han's written language is so powerful that assimilates other tribes.

Thus, from my definition, "Chinese" are the people from PRC land, not the race/bloodline tribe at all.

Since Taiwan is not part of PRC, people in Taiwan should not call themselves "Chinese" at all. KMT education simply brainwash people deeply.
