on the other hand, we don't say "go to dinner", eh? Sometimes it's just that way and it's difficult to explain. Sort of like collocations...

normally we'd say go somewhere for a meeting,(為了開會去某處) but if there wasn't a place mentioned go to a meeting would be rather suitable
