big thing up here. Our Pack adopts two. Last year our district we adopted over 75 families

our Pack this year is 126. We ask churches,salvation army, food pantries and community outreach for ideas on families. c

They submitt the names and then we set them up with a Pack or Troop near the family.

The leader who does this for our district says it's like another full time job this time of year

but it's more rewarding

We do something similar - unrelated to scouts - we go through the elementary school counselors though for the families. Easier I think.

Easier to find families I mean, but hard to find sponsors. It is like a full-time job, but SO rewarding. I look forward to it all year.

you adopted 75 families with only 126 pack members?

No the Pack did 2 families. The District did 75+

oh ok. That sounds more reasonable!

and with 126 this year I hope we can adopt three families
