reading some of Big S' portfolio, and it is pretty, but seems nothing to do with what they have been hired for here. Am I missing something?

a portfolio says "i can do stuff" not "i can do your stuff"... seeing most employment decisions are kneejerk you're just looking for flex
pontificates: if you _like_ the portfolio, and it doesn't make you gag... maybe you can work with these people

if you were desperate enough to fix it, you'd hire someone who could bake a good cake .. eventually.. regardless of how absurd that is
says often a consulting company's website does not show all their services, believe it or not. I have seen this many times at work
