I only caught the end of McCain's concession speech and I thought it was very honorable

the way he tried to quiet the boos against Obama

it was like the old McCain was back

heard bad things about what he said before that but I'll wait to hear it for myself before I say such things

he's always had his heart more in the country than in the presidency... if that makes sense

McCain's speech was very well done, very honorable, much more so than the reaction of his audience.

or the conduct of his campaign which was by my measure fairly despicable.

McCain's campaign didn't really seem to fit the man

agrees. It's not him.

i'm not so sure. he seemed to take a certain glee in many of the character attacks.

and further he had to have authorized the strategy at least.

but then McCain lost me with his vote on the torture bill, well before the election campaign.

he lost me at McCain-Feingold (though the SNL skit was funny)
