here's what I dislike about the electoral college system. Besides that the popular vote winner can (and sometimes does) lose anyway

tonight's vote is a landslide in terms of electoral college votes but in terms of raw votes, it wasn't a landslide at all

I think that's a point that most people don't think about, and it's good that you brought it up.

It's similar to how here in England, a lot of people still think they vote for a person, and not a party. Here, they vote for a party...

and even if we look at the last three remaining states and we assume that the popular winner as currently stated receives their votes
