Er. Zip code. Always been in my area code.
I don't use them all the time but they've worked well for me on those overbusy weeks
I like them a lot. It's nice not to have to go to the grocery store and just have the stuff you need show up
they have a pretty decent selection and great customer service. their produce is pretty good too.
I would say give them a try and see how you like them. I find it super convenient
love them! produce is always super fresh, i love pre-dawn delivery
One drawback is I have to join Amazon Prime to use them.
well interesting that you need prime for your zip code. however.. there is a free one month trial
For the four new zip codes (98103 and the three in Issaquah) you have to be in Prime. May just be an experiment.
OK, we're going to order for Sun morning delivery. Thanks all!
eeeeeeeeeh! they're in 98103 now???? Wooooohoooo!
Hopefully they get rid of the Amazon Prime requirement, though.
yeah, though I don't know- with Carl working there, maybe we can get around it? We'll see. I just freaking love that they got here finally
We decided Prime was OK for us since we probably drop 1-2K a year on Amazon (btwn Xmas and book orders).
then yeah, I would say it's worth it
Most of that is Xmas, though, for all 25 relatives we have to buy for.
It's funny -- I found it had my shipping address in England still in the DB. Haven't lived there in 10 years. Heh.
We ordered for Tues delivery, but wow, their meat prices are high. Everything else was comparable to QFC.
they have good prices on Honeycrisp apples.. they're like $1.79 per apple, when I bought just 1 at the store the other day it was over $2
One Honeycrisp for $2? They were $2/lb at QFC the other day.
metropolitan market *shrug*
Oh, Met Market. You know that the apples are hand-selected by Mexican migrant workers with PhDs in botany, right?
Every time I go in Met Market I wonder who can afford to buy weekly groceries from them. It sure ain't me.
when we used to grocery shop we'd get a lot of stuff there like produce and stuff.. but staple things from safeway
we shifted to QFC after Safeway's produce got really crappy. QFC
QFC is about 10% more than Safeway.
wnalyd I do what
lunge says, I don't have a QFC near me and Safeway
*does* have crappy produce
there's a QFC at Westwood.. and soon to be one just down from the junction
