Wow......once the foundation is poured, things move fairly fast, don't they?

Fast, then slow. The walls go up, the trusses go on, the windows go in. Then slowly the dry wall goes on, and the finishing takes forever.

Henderson, Nevada, next to Las Vegas. We have lived here for seven years. Also in Hawaii for 15. Built a new house on Maui four years ago.

tempted to say that compared with the time to prepare and get permit etc is most fast.

Well, it certainly is nice to see THINGS HAPPENING! But I'm not calling the movers any time soon.

any guesses on how long it will take until just painting is left?

Should be able to move in in June. That seems right around the corner, but the last couple of months will be an agony of waiting.

Never been to Henderson. Is it as nice as Maui?

Well, pretty much the opposite. Warm, dry, no water, plenty of shopping, restaurants, drive to LA. 1/2 in each is great.
