omfg yes to Tamora Pierce. I stalk her lj sometimes. Both of them.

She's fantastic, she writes strong girls, she slaps you if you call her chars sluts, she writes lesbians, etc

She even gave me canon teacher/student (a+!) but I haven't quite forgiven her for not giving me Kel/Raoul XD

I think she swore the one time I went to a book signing for her as a preteen and I was like "I want to be you someday"

Her writing isn't the most mature from a style standpoint, but she has improved over time and her claracters are so fantastic

Tammy is awesome and I love her.

yeah, I agree. I didn't read it so much for the style at that age anyway. It was definitely her characters that drew me in.

I really should pick her back up sometime.

FaeRose: Basically anything deliciously fried, chicken tenders, fried shrimp, french fries, etc, etc. I cannot resist the fryer!

Pretty well, job is going, boss trying to secure me a raise, looking for other opportunities. Got sick over Memorial Day, mostly better
