it's quiet good before the quarter began.

i am considering taking 19 credits this year. But lots of senior told me that it really is a tight schedule

in addition, i gradually feel the difficulties in studying statistics. Really need lots of time to prepare and review course materials!

You mean 19 credits for one semester right? I remembered there is a 12 units minimum requirement each quarter for a full time student.

I took 12 units for the first quarter and 14 for the 2nd, but the load in the 2nd semester is not so bad because of the 108.02 writing class

you will feel better after first month I guess because you will find the majority of your classmates feel the same way as yours

19 credits for this quarter. Right now the minimum is 10 credits for a full-time graduate student.

I don't have to take writing class tho. Gonna take a speaking class this quarter.

It depends on which classes you chose I think. Some classes with 4 or 5 units aren't worthy of the workload.

which courses did you choose? 620 645 Math107 and ...? everyone has different background and thus suit for different units per quarter.

620, 645, 664 and an english speaking course

Stasny recommended me 664, so i took it!

In this case, you should be fine. 664 and 645 is more applied stat than theoretic stat and the 620 is pretty easy compared to 621 and 622.

I have no idea about the speaking course. Just making sure you have enough time for all the course loads.

OK. Speaking course is rather relaxing to me. Attending the class is like going to LTTC.

In fact I really have no ideas about the loading. So far weekly assignment seems to be all right.

shainechiu: everyone feels the course loads in different way. Actually weekly homework is pretty normal in stat, and you should be fine.

Yea weekly homework reminds me the old days when taking statistic courses in NTU. Anyway, I'll just try my best!

I think weekly homework is not so scary for me because it would not so unpredictable in some ways.I would worry about final project more.
