It's all I use, tony. CC has a great set of different licenses for every need.
I use CC for any content I create. Non commerical -attribute-share alike usually
some people prefer to be very restrictive... but overall, it's great for those who use them.
I stick to MIT license for the code i release
we're in a whole new world, can't contain copyrights anymore. don't know how it will end but its a tsunami of openness now.
It depends on the property and the reason I created it, but for most things MIT or Creative Commons works for me
I am thinking of use cc, with no commercial use and not allowing changes to my work. Thoughts?
seems reasonable, I always allow changes so long as the attribute and share alike
what is exactly is the work you're planning on using it on?
juless the blog sites Ci currently run as well as some new ones I am starting in the coming months.
ahh. then I think your cc is a good choice!
I have a more commercial venture I am starting as well, but I will have to reserve the rights on that because of advertising
CC is awesome! Almost all of my Flickr photos and a couple of my podcasts have a CC license
CC licensing. I get to share what I wish to, the community gets to use what they like, everybody wins. Enjoy-

CC is great, but why does everything have to be shared?
share and share alike... I'm becoming more Marxist the older I get.
Creative Commons licenses!
I'll second dcousineau ... CC noncommercial-attribute-sharealike is a great all-around license.
I agree with
nexeus. Have not added because I don't want to share everything.
I tend to agree withmary, then that forces us all to agree to "share"/ some haven't learned to do that yet, properly.
CC
sharing is caring...
youragentsteph you can still add it and exclude certain works, also common misconception is you cant make money of CC
I use CC on all photos that I post to Flickr. It works - an online guide followed it to use one of my photos.
One of the purposes of CC is to simplify expressing your copyright wishes to others. But I still find it too legally complex for me.
you don't have to share everything - you can reserve full rights if you wish not to share certain works. Sharing makes me happy, but YMMV.
CC is blogs etc. where you would like your work repeated, shared, etc. to increase your exposure. It spreads your rep for good content
