either having mining and herbalism, OR make an alt with both of these. I make at least a couple hundred gold per day between those 2, and
picking the highest value quest items and selling them. (Usually plate armor). I was able to get enough to dual-spec in about a week, and
already I'm up to 2500 gold after about 2-3 weeks of hardly even trying
Once Cata comes out, I'm going to drop mining on Nika and take up engineering, but my worgen will have mining instead
that's what I do too, my DK is my farmer, she has mining and skinning which is how I make my G for everything, don't even do LW anymore
most of my toons have a gathering skill, so I sell that stuff too, instead of lvl'g my other skill
Does skinning bring in very much money?
yes, especially when you get up the higher lvl skins, just remember, you kill a lot of mobs, skinning is an added bonus
I'm definitely doing mining on my worgen, and I heard they get a bonus for skinning and don't need a knife, so I'll probably do that
I've done skinning since I joined, and love it, can't stand to leave the hides there, what a waste ya know?
I second the notion on mining. I've made way more from selling ore and bars than everything else combined. It is especially good
when you get outland flying, but you need to use gathermate or something to keep track of the ore deposits.
skinning is awesome. Right now, where I am questing, the skins I take off every mob are worth over a g each.
I have to kill them anyway, but I am raking in serious G at the same time. Skinning and mining ftw.
