Got up early and went to the new house to discuss the attic pull down stairs. They AREN'T stairs. It's a LADDER.
Well at least they don't take up much space when they are pulled down.
It would take a really large hole in the ceiling though for stairs to keep head room as you ascend so maybe it's better.
The space we are climbing into is 7' - 8' high. And the hole in the ceiling is plenty big.
yikes! Pull down ladders are icky.
Yeah, I'm not real happy about the pull down ladder, but it only leads to the mechanical space -- aircons and water heaters.
Water heater in the attic? Interesting.
It a HUGE space.
