takes the basket, looking at them. "Oh, these look delicious, thank you." closes the door and follows Toris inside. "Halloween came early."

"More sweets? Are you trying to make me fat?" sets the basket on the table and moves the bowl of popcorn next to it before sitting down.

blushes embarrasedly, as he squeaks, "W-what?! I-I'm sorry! I never meant it like that!"

frowns at him. "I'm teasing Toris. Sit down."

blinks. "O-oh. A-alright.." He does as he's told, trying to rid the blush of his face.

wraps her hands around her knee, studying Toris. "So, what brings you here?"

looks to the ground from the studying. "I had some leftover sweets, and I know they are, or were your favourites. I thought you might like_

them."

"Those are my favorites, and I will enjoy them very much." looks over the basket and takes one out, biting into it. "Mmm, good."

smiles pleased. "I'mglad you like them. I was hoping you would."

"Mmm, delicious." chews the candy and gives Toris an approving look.

Smiles at her and says "So how have you been?"

"Keeping pretty busy. Getting ready for the trick or treaters, you?"

nods "Same here. Though my people aren't too big on sweets."

"Neither are mine, I've always enjoyed simple but good food."

nods. "Yes, mine as well. We seem to have alot in common, don't we?"

"I suppose that's not so surprising Toris, we did live together for 600 years."

nods, That was true. "You have a good point there."

nods too. "You practically raised me, I was very little when I started living with you."

smiles at the thought of Bela being a child. "You were very cute then. That hasn't changed though. You're still very cute, though."

"Dziakuj, Toris." Not sure what to say, Toris always pays compliments, but isn't sure he always means them.

takes another sweet out of the basket and nibbles on it. They were so delicious. "Do you think it will get cold soon?

looks to the window. "Yes. It's getting cold, I think winter will be here very soon."

"Hmm, it always seems like there's so much to get done before it gets here too."

nods sighing slightly. "That's very true. I'm worried I might not get everything done!"

"You will Toris. You always do."

smiles slightly. "Thank you, Natalya. I hope you are right. I believe you'll be able to finish everything."

"We'll see, focus on the important stuff first, then take care of the other things."

nods. "very smart idea."

"I know tomorrow I am going to make a fresh batch of kvas. The garden is done, the leaves are raked so I have time to do that."

smiles. "Baking is fun. I hope you hhave fun with that, too. I've almost got my garden ready for winter. But not quite still."

"I do have that done at least. Now I'm looking forward to winter, and working on my winter projects."

laughs. "Well, I think I should catch up to you, then, shouldn't I?"

"You never could keep up with me."

's eyes widen, wondering if that was a joke or an insult. "Yes, well.."

"Did I just shock you when I said that?" studies his face curiously.

nods, scratching the back of his head. "Yes, you did."

"Oh, I was trying to be funny."

's eys widen again. Oops. It was so hard to know with her. "Oh, I'm sorry that I didn't get the joke that time. I should have known!"

"What did you think I was doing? You didn't think I was serious, did you?"

's cheek stain with a light blush. "I didn't know, whether you were serious or not. I thought it was a joke, but you didn't look like you_

"Maybe I don't have the best face for telling jokes." never does smile much, which humor needs to make it funny.

looks at her. "you should smile some more. Aren't you with Alfred now? I've seen you two around. That should make you smile."
