((ooc)) her Noriko skirt came in the mail and she now faces a hard decision. The skirt isn't pleated in the back. Should she just use it or
attempt to sew a pleated skirt with the possibility of effing it up, wasting fabric.

personally, I'd probably just try to sew one. Though if the one you have is close enough it might make more sense to just use it anyway.
It looks perfectly fine in the front, thats what effed me up when I ordered it online, i had no idea it had no pleats in the back
