walked in to the commons room as silently as he could, his hands clutching on to a few candy wrappers in his pocket as though they'd give
*hadn't noticed his presence as he sketched a moe anime girl*
*froze at the sight of another patient. He shuffled towards a chair in the corner that screeched on the floor as he sat in it*
*yelped startled at the sudden noise and looked up at whom else was there* "A..Ah...konichiwa?"
"... Hej." *mumbled quietly, feeling extremely self conscious at having been so noisy*
*blinks confused at what he said unsure* "Um..my name Kiku, may inquire whom you are?"
*not wanting to seem rude to someone that seemed so polite he cleared his throat* "'m Berwald... Nice t' meet y'."
"Hai...nice to meet you as well..." *he says shyly, the guy seemed so intimating and large*
*tried to smile politely, though it came out as an awkward glower. He glanced at the drawing curiously, but didn't want to be rude and ask*
*bit his lip a bit nervous by the glower* "Um...it is a anime character."
*blinked a couple of times in confusion, but scooted a bit closer while maintaining a comfortable distance* "...Anime?"
*watched him confused a bit* "Um...Japanese animation.."
"Ah..." *leant forward a bit more. It was a very nice drawing, though it wasn't like the cartoons he was used to*
*felt even more awkward when he moved closer* "D..do you enjoy the style?"
"'s... nice..." *mumbled as he furrowed his brows together* "Why're th' eyes big?"
"There eyes?" *he hadn't really thought anything of it* "Um...that how I was taught to draw them."
"Ah..." *nodded. It was an interesting style, and did look cute* "'s cute..."
*nods with a light smile* "She is kawaii."
"Ka...hm?" *assumes it is the characters name*
*hummed a quiet response, not wanting to say it and sound silly. He sat up stiffly and looked around the room awkwardly*
*he wasn't sure what else to say* "Um..would you wish to sketch aswell or perhaps play a game?"
*nodded slowly. It would be nice to do something* "A game?"
"Hai.." *polietly points to the shelf of board games* "You will need to choose though. I am not familiar with western style games."
*stood up and walked towards the shelves to pilfer through the games; he hadn't played any games in years*
"Do you know any of them?"
*shook his head 'no' and continued looking. He settled on a small box for a game called 'chutes and ladders' and carried it to the table*
*examined the box cover curiously, his reading English was not that great* It seems to be a childs game of some sort."
