Yep. Most of my characters have either dead, or divorced parents.
Naruto: dead parents, but he's met them in some manner, so not really.
Shikamaru: His mother is a nag, and he sort of treats his sensei more like a father, but I wouldn't say not too much
Nagato: Well, he was an orphan, so yeah. I'd say he does.
Jiraiya: No, he has breast issues. (HE CAN'T GET ENOUGH)
Phoenix Wright: He doesn't really seem to have parental issues as far as I can tell
Miles Edgeworth: Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha. DO I EVEN NEED TO EXPLAIN?
Klavier Gavin: No, he has brother issues.
Guilford: No, I don't think he really has.
Schneizel: He wants to overthrow his father.
Roy Mustang; he was raised by his aunt, then was Bertinand's student, so it's debatable. I'd say not really no. He has ISHVAL issues.
Major Miles: He doesn't need parent issues. He lives/works in Briggs. (until post series)
Minato Namikaze: Nah, he seems pretty balanced. He has issues with Tomatoes. (whom he loves deeply)
Yugi Moto: Well, you never hear of his dad, see his mother once in the manga... so possibly some!
Aden Charisma: His dad was a grouchy gambling priest who was gone a lot. So some.
Tasuku Charisma: See Aden's, but have less of an impact.
Balmung otF: Yes, he saw his dad kill his mother and didn't know it was a mercy killing.
Durandal otF: He was an orphan.
Keizanad: His older brother killed his parents, so he had brother issues.
Daigo: Well he's Keizanad's younger brother, so... same issues apply.
Aelthir[RO]: None at all.
Aelthir[DND]: His parents disowned him because he became a paladin.
Guilbert[WoW]: None whatsoever. He's too busy thanks to his sister/his own life.
Ravosu[WoW]: Too fucked up a story to get into. It just involves Guilbert, and Time Travel.
Haken Browning: He probably has some lingering issues with Lemon, since you know, never met and all.
That is why Aden is so close ot his kids
Kyosuke Nanbu: Parents are never actually mentioned, so it's safe to assume not really.
his was never around >_>;
At least that is why he's so close to Aelyn.
LEN KAGAMINE: He's a vocaloid. He may have a lingering issue of the lack of parents.
Oh yeah. That would make sense, wouldn't it.
Wintarimon/ADM/ADM:SS Mode - He is a Digimon, and even if he did have parents, he has a huge responsibility for his Sovereign to perform.
You know, compared to worrying about actually having parent issues.
He has more Lilithmon issues than anything else.
Trigger Moto: Eh, not really except that he has to live up to family expectations.
Maximillian Kaiba: He shot his father in the leg at 8 years old. I think he has father issues.
Michael Pegasus: Yes, because any dad who sells their kid off as an infant is a REALLY COOL DAD (NOT)
Gabriel Pegasus: Nope. He has Michael issues.
Greg Gospel: No parent issues except seeing them die due to an accident which left him perma traumatized into a killing machine
Eric Gospel; He has hidden issues, but not parental.
Amenuthep: He's the motherflippin, he's the motherflippin, he's the motherflippin, bad pharaoh!
(Very debatable on the family issues thing, I just think he's got a royal attitude.)
It's who we've been RPIng, lmao
(Admittedly, I forgot about them until the end)
I'm starting to feel lame 'cuz the majority of my characters have no real issues with their folks/dead ones. <_>
Verantze: If taken overboard, could be considered lazy writing, to be fair~
Efuramu: Aelthir[DND] I thought was disowned by his parents not merely for being a Paladin but for being a Paladin of a Human god.
Efuramu: (Although I'm not saying they couldn't have just had a problem with the family heir going all holy crusader~ Just wasn't sure
Efuramu: which way you went with that.)
MageKiros: Well, it was paladin of a human god, but the way I understood it is that elves weren't paladins at all.
Ah no. Plenty of Elves become Paladins. Leyandra is a very traditional Feudalist Kingdom that's been at war with the neighboring human
kingdom, Riscana. Thus, Leyandrians are very nationalist "All Elf, all the time." Human religions were once banned in the country.
So to those of a more traditional mindset such as an elven noble house, following a human god is frowned upon at best. Much less galavanting
Well, human god is easy to flip in.
cause it's essentially the same reason.
Pretty much. Yeah, point being, elven Paladin as a combination alone is completely legit.
Er, rather it's not condemned in that society on that reason alone.
WHEN IS AELTHIR GONNA HIT DAT
I might be on a normal schedule soon with this new promotion
