absolutely - i see twitter more as a forum for announcements and immediate invites to a website, live event or a personal comment. plurk

allows me to interact and seek/receive info i most likely would not be able to find elsewhere

Twitter lacks permanence. Things fly by quickly in the moment, and then are gone. Better search than Plurk - but the A-team will get there.
