much was in English so it was harder.
sat in his favorite chair besides the fireplace. He raced back to the dormitory after his final class of the day to get to it before any
other students could take it first. He flipped through the pages of his transfiguration text book idly. He had studied it countless times,
but once more could never hurt.
*turned to a page and tried to learn to "Wingardium Leviosa. He flicked his wand at the feather but didn't prounouce the spell-
*glanced up over his glasses to see another student struggling with a spell. He didn't want to intrude, but he also didn't want the boy to*
*explode something in the common room, so he kept a cautious eye out silently*
*frowns at the feather that did not move. He did not understand what what was wrong*
*sighed, but didn't want to interrupt the other students studies for fear of embarrassing him. Though as the failure continued he decided*
*that if the boy failed once more he would try to help... he was, after-all, a prefect, and it was his duty to help*
*attempts it again but his Engrish was not enough for the spell to work*
*sighed, and shut his book over a finger. If /he/ could manage the spell, then the Asian boy should have been able to*
Y' need t' sp'k m're cl'rl'.
(( FFF, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT! ))
*blinks and looks at him confused* "Um..please excuse me but I am not sure what you just said.."
"Y' gott' sp'k m're cl'r'ly." *tries to speak as clearly as he can… and fails horribly*
[The irony is killing me.]
(( THE IRONY. OH GOODNESS. ))
*shakes his head* "Gomen nasai..my English is not good so...um unclear English I cannot understand."
*frowned, it sounded clear to him; or at least as clearly as he could make it* Y're n't stress'n' th' r'ght p'rts.
*Understood a tiny part of it* "Stressing the right parts?"
*nodded, pleased that he'd been understood at least partially. He lifted his wand up and swished it in the air* "Sv'sh, 'n' fl'ck..."
"Wing-gard-ee-um Le-vee-oh-sah" *spoke as clearly as he could, and watched as a small object in front of him lifted gently from a table*
*blinked surprised* "I will try..." *swish and flicked* "Whern- guard -ee-um Ler-vee-oh-sah.." *nothing happened*
((my attempt of engrish))
"Weeng-gard-ee-um Le-vee-oh-sah." *spoke as slowly, and clearly as he could*
"Ween-gard-ee urm-Lee-ve-ah-sah?" *the feather moved a tiny bit*
*nodded, but didn't say anything else and continued to watch him with sharp eyes*
*the prefects look was maing hm nervous*"Ween- gard-ee-urm_Lee-vee-oh-sah.." *the fether softly floated from the table*
Hm. *nodded politely and looked back down at his book. At least the commons hadn't been blown up*
"Arigato, for your help."
