NaNoWriMo question of the day: Are you writing your novel in 1st or 3rd person? And why?

3rd. Because I want to be able to move around my characters not have one in focus all the time. There needs to be stuff she doesn't know!

Yep, I started out in 1st and had to change to 3rd for that reason. Still have to re-write first few pages. (annoyed)

1st because I have a hard time conveying emotion in 3rd.

: That's interesting - that's why I started mine in 1st but it ended up not making sense.

I find it easier to get the reader to connect with a difficult character if I do it in 1st.
