why why nov 26th

yes, it is a public event. there are 45 participating designers who will be selling limited edition items, with a maximum of 111 copies.

i just have an awful feeling that all the stuff i like will be gone by the time i wake up

Nov 26th is traditionally "black friday", during which lots of fun retail events and sales happen.

We thought it was a great day to launch our concept.

Hosting the opening on a Friday (and a Holiday weekend in the US) will allow people to have more access to the event, hopefully.

Are you taking more stores for this or do you have all slots filled?

Participation to the event is invite-only, as all stores have been voted on and selected by the committee hosting the event, and it is full.

Def my RL shopping day for the opening but sounds like a great idea that I'm gonna be checking out often.

WHY do the items have to be limitedddd?

I think it is a great concept...I always do my black friday shopping in SL...the crowds are easier to manage (read: derender)

isadora: that's part of our concept. we want it to be similar to a RL shopping experience, where items sell out. we think its cool!
